The RK Bell Group is made up of two Limited Companies – RK Bell Ltd, providers of Plant Hire, Transport & Waste Transfer Services and RK Bell Projects Ltd, suppliers of Civil Engineering and Surfacing.
We are based in Bridgwater, Somerset and supply our services to the whole of the South West of England and Wales.
We strive to deliver a cost effective, flexible and efficient service to suit all our customers’ individual needs.

A look back at our successful 2023
The year 2023 is the year of business growth and expansion with the RK Bell Group acquiring the majority shareholding of Gworks Surfacing. Gworks is a successful South West surfacing and civil engineering company, now independently forming part of the RK Bell Group. Our experienced and qualified team specialise in all types of machine and hand lay Asphalt surfacing from base, binder and surface courses to coloured, specialist and decorative surfaces.

Our Plant department is offering a range of 360° excavators, from as little as 1.5 tonne mini diggers to 35 tonne large excavators, 180° wheeled backhoes with attachments.
All machines are supplied with bio oil and come with a complete range of buckets and quick hitches. Our equipment is fitted with tracking devices, vandal guards and where needed 360° cameras.

As part of our Plant hire department we offer various Sweeper services for the South West region. Our services range from sweeping of car parks to the cleaning of construction sites and highways.
We operate in various sectors like Nuclear, Housing, Commercial, Retail, Domestic and Local Authorities.
All drivers operate fully CPC trained and hold CSCS cards to access safety critical & nuclear sites.

In addition to Plant Hire, we offer a reliable Transport and Haulage Service. Our drivers are continuously trained and our equipment and vehicles are regularly serviced.
We transport through the whole of England and South Wales. Our fleet consists of Tipper Lorries, Low Loader and Plant Lorry and are ideal to carry your plant & equipment from site to site . Furthermore we are also licensed for the transportation of waste soil, rubble, concrete and delivery of clean aggregates to site.

Our aim as a business is to help our clients avoid sending waste to landfill sites and provide an environmentally friendly waste disposal route for our customers.
Hence, we promote recycling and reclamation of inert waste materials at our Bridgwater Depot which is a fully licensed Commercial Waste Transfer Station.
All produced materials are in accordance with the WRAP protocol and products range from certified 6F5, Fill materials, Road planings as dug, top soils and BS3882 certificated Top soils.
